Welcome to Chiang Mai Osteopathy
We provide a non-invasive and complementary approach to pain management and well-being.
Our approach
Led by Ben Thompson, a British-trained Chiang Mai native, we are an international team of osteopaths dedicated to providing high-quality health care. All our practitioners are licensed and accredited to international standards. With a diverse team, our approach is holistic, professional, and personalised.
Alongside osteopathy, our practice also offers counselling. While our osteopaths focus on physical health, our counsellors support people navigating anxiety, trauma, and psychosomatic concerns - bringing together care that supports the whole person.

“I can’t recommend Ben enough.
I walked into the clinic after a week of some of the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. 9.5/10 pain and continuous muscle spasms that didn’t even let up at night time. I would be full of pain even in my dreams. It sucked and to say I was absolutely miserable would be an understatement.
Firstly, Ben has a solid understanding of the neuroscience of pain which is really important for body working practitioners. Too many ignore the psycho emotional aspect and just keep telling you to come back and back and back for more appointments, which takes the control and power of their own condition completely away from the patient and makes them reliant and dependant on the practitioner.
In my case I just needed to get the muscle spasms and acute(!) pain down so that I could get out of the pain - fear - pain loop.
Ben really helped, far more than any other body worker I have ever been to, and I have seen many, many specialists over the years.
A combination of cupping, spinal and neck adjustments, acupuncture and other types of bodywork (which I don’t know the name of) decreased my pain levels dramatically. This was yesterday and I am so happy to say that I woke up with the least pain I have woken up with for over two weeks now. And it has gotten better and better as the day goes on.
Ben is a kind, empathetic and caring person who really wants to get his patients out of pain, with a good sense of humour! I was a bit scared of the acupuncture needles and he was very patient and understanding.
Treatments are also very reasonably priced for the amount of time you get.
Would give 6 stars if I could!”
